i have yet to actualy record any more of my LP yet..
but have been doing some cross-stiching again...

the boys are getting most large, and prettier and are only getting 500ml twice a day now....

the weekend before last i did go to cardiff...
and most supreme it was..
went up on the thursday and got to see/meet gethin, who is indeed welsh..
also had the treat of having him cook rabbit stew and good 'stodgy' pancakes for tea...
the vegetables were a bit undercooked but the rabbit was nice, and tasted like chicken, although had very little meat on it..

on the friday i visited cardiff museum, saw many ceramic pieces and funny religious paintings and was brought back to my childhood by their crazy taxidermy-style exhibits and the long, long natural history bit...
later on kate and her many baby friends came up..
we went to the barfly, and lucy danced with a crazy, scary dancing man...
i drank relatively large amounts of guinness...

on saturday we went to a Zushi sushi bar in the evening..
with a lil' conveyor belt and mucho raw fish/roe/etc...
after it was back to barfly, but this time to see David Devant & His Spirit Wife live, and in the flesh....
they played some 'old school' songs, i was mildly surprised to see Foz? there, and was pleasantly surprised to see that Vessel (and the Colonel) was sporting a new wig...
they were superb..

sunday, after having already read a dude-y graphic novel about old super heroes in their future and some of a book about manga and a bit of wolf & cub, i decided to watch legend of the overfiend and legend of the demon womb...
and most fun/odd, great/funny and smashing it was..

on monday, the day of my departure, i decided it was a good idea to go into town again and buy some random crap...
i ended up spending too much time wandering around, and on my way back to Lucy's house went the wrong/round way..
so rather than the ~30 mintues it should have taken me i got supremely lost..
walked past a huge cemetary, and then came upon a series of funny little parks with a river running through them..
eventually i ended up almost back by the railway station, the opposite side of the city centre i should have been..and after about 2 hours finally got back to Lucy's the 'right way'...
hoho...

but eventually i got home..
yes.

elgin and horatio were wicked again yesterday, and went under the fence and got in the garden...
so now they have more electric fencing up and can't get to their gate or 'jumping board' now..
haha...

hopefully i can/shall have my new soundcard put in the other computer, and get it upgraded to XP....
then i can record all my songs at some point...
a couple are left only just uncompleted, but i can just finish them off as i go along/whatever..
some of the others shall probably need 'tweaking' any way like...

and deciding on a tracklist for 15 songs sure is easier said than done...
i think i shall have to tackle it as two halves/three thirds maybe..

i think i shall also have to go to cardiff in a couple of weekends time, even though Kate and many of her baby friends shall be there...probably taking up mucho space and being mucho noisy....
but David Devant & His Spirit Wife shall be performing..
and after having a Devantian Renaissance as of late i've most wanted to see them live...
oh yes...

muwuhahah...
i have ordered a new soundcard today (at last), which should hopefully arrive tomorrow...
it's not the bestest of quality, but was nice and cheap, has midi I/O which i need, and come with a good (free) software bundle..
now i need to back up all my projects and shit from the old computer....
(and complete my 2 half-finished songs)

cut my hair i did, was getting kinda bored of it being long..
plus it was starting sticking in my ears again, which does ever so annoy me...
i also had a go at recording with my new microphone last week...

most snazzy and good it is..
i can now easily record an acoustic guitar and vocals at the same time if i want...
mucho MUCHO better sensitivity...
mmmm....

time to feed the boys now i guess...

yesterday i did recieve two books...
one called 'Wirework' which has pretty things in it all made out of wire, and all thanks to tinkers no less...
and another one called 'Shellcraft' which has many scary things made using shells, etc..the shell figures and stuff make me think rather of a car crash....
they're quite, quite terrifying..but i can't help but look...

i watched alien ressurection again....
it was far sillier than i remembered it, in a comic book style way..
i think this could be explained by the fact i discovered it was written by joss 'the vampire slayer' wheadon..
hehe...

i also got to see battle royale 2..
i don't think it can be as good/seminal as the first....
but that would have taken some doing...
but in a way it is even more odd/confusing, going on about terrorism and stuff...
crazy crazy...
